SLRB Equal Opportunities Committee Holds Regular Meeting

The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) held its regular meeting, chaired by Ms. Diana Faisal Sarhan, Director General of Human Resources and Information Systems and Chairperson of the Committee, in the presence of the Committee members.

At the outset of the meeting, Ms. Sarhan affirmed the Bureau’s commitment to continuing to support efforts and initiatives aimed at consolidating the principle of equal opportunities and enhancing the contributions of Bahraini women across various fields of work. This aligns with the progress and achievements made by Bahraini women under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

In this context, she highlighted the Silver Jubilee of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women, celebrated this year under the theme **“25 Years at the Heart of the Reform Project.”** She commended the prominent role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, noting the achievements made over the past 25 years in supporting the advancement of Bahraini women and consolidating the principle of equal opportunities.

During the meeting, the Committee reviewed the latest developments and key achievements under its annual plan, followed up on the implementation of approved programmes and initiatives, and discussed matters related to the Committee’s work and plans for the upcoming period.

The Committee also discussed a number of proposals aimed at strengthening and consolidating the principle of equal opportunities within the institutional work environment, supporting performance development, and maximizing the potential of national competencies across various fields of work at the Bureau.
