About the Committee:
The Equal Opportunities Committee is one of the supporting committees dedicated to empowering women and promoting the principle of equality in the workplace. It strives to establish fairness in employment, training, and promotion opportunities to ensure active participation from all employees, both men and women, equally.
The committee seeks to support policies and programs that ensure a discrimination-free work environment and encourage creativity and positive participation from all staff members.
Vision and Mission:
To make the Equal Opportunities Committee a leading institutional model in promoting justice, equality, and women’s empowerment in the workplace — contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals by spreading a culture of equal opportunities within the Survey and Land Registration Bureau. This will be achieved through initiatives and programs that ensure fairness, equality, and the empowerment of female staff to actively participate in the institutional development journey.
Objectives:

Role of the Committee:

Promote the principle of equal opportunities between genders in all areas of work within the Survey and Land Registration Bureau.

Follow up on the implementation of supporting plans and programs.

Propose initiatives and policies that contribute to enhancing professional fairness.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the application of equal opportunity policies in employment, training, and promotions.

Raise awareness about the importance of women’s role in institutional and community development.
Activities and Initiatives:

Organize workshops and training programs that enhance women’s empowerment and effective leadership.

Hold awareness events and social initiatives on national and international occasions.

Participate in forums and seminars that highlight the success stories of Bahraini women.
