Tides 2025 – Digital Edition
The digital edition of the annual publication Tides 2025 serves as a reliable scientific reference, offering precise hydrographic data that supports maritime safety and the efficient planning of ship and boat navigation routes within and beyond the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This edition reflects the Survey and Land Registration Bureau’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the protection of marine and wildlife ecosystems, while meeting the needs of professionals and stakeholders in the maritime sector. The Hydrographic Survey Directorate has been publishing this guide annually since the 1980s, based on international standards for tidal observation and analysis.
The book includes daily tide predictions along Bahrain’s coastline for the year 2025, derived from data collected at 12 monitoring stations distributed across the kingdom. These stations are equipped with advanced sensors that record tidal levels every ten minutes, enabling accurate representation of tidal patterns and long-term forecasting based on historical comparisons.
This resource plays a crucial role across several key sectors, including maritime transport, economic planning, tourism, and food security. It also supports coastal development projects and sustainable marine resource management. All hydrographic data and publications are continuously updated in accordance with International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) standards, of which Bahrain is an active member.
