SLRB’s Delegation led by H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Land Registration, visited Dubai Land Department on Monday 3 April 2006.

HH Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalifa Al-Maktoum, Head of Dubai Land Department received HE Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Land Registration and accompanying delegation. The visit aimed at discussing the cooperation between both directorates and reviewing the latest developments pertaining to systems of registration of land, flats and storeys within the directorate.

Form Dubai Land side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Sultan bin Butti, Director General and Mr. Juma’a bin Humaidan Assistant Director General; and from SRLB side Mr. Ammar Rashid Al-Khashram, Head of Maps, Mr. Fahad Al-Boainian, Legal Researcher and Mr. Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Hajiri, Secretary to SLRB Director General and a number of Directors of Directorates.

Mr. Sultan bin Butti and H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Khalifa held a meeting to discuss the outcome of the deliberations reached by Dubai Land Department and SLRB in terms of services and sophisticated work mechanism that contributes to speed up transactions achievement. The meeting was a platform to exchange views on methods of developing relations between the two directorates.

Subsequently, Mr. Marwan bin Ghilaitta, Director of Technical Affairs, Dubai Land presented Dubai Land Department profile to SLRB delegation and explained in details the procedures and services offered to the public and the system pursued by Dubai Land Department in the process of developing “Dubai Government Excellence Program” and other plans to promote levels of performance in relation to services offered to the public by the Department.

After that Mr. Khalifa Al-Rizaim Al-Swaidi, Head of Systems and Information in Dubai Land briefed the Delegation on the Department system of work and stages of its development and the process of converting paper files to electronic files. 

In its part, Bahraini delegation presented a brief demonstration to the services of SLRB in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the methods and mechanisms used in land registration and the latest publications of Land Registration.

In his turn, H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Khalifa extended his thanks to HH Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalifa Al-Maktoumand and lauded the efforts exerted by Dubai Land Department and expressed his contentment towards the results of the visit which was crowned by success.
