Under the patronage of SLRB Head Shaikh Salman Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the SLRB held an annual party on 27 March 2005 to honour long serving employees who have been with the SLRB for a long time. The party was held at Sheraton Hotel, Bahrain.

Shaikh Salman delivered an opening speech expressing his satisfaction over the event and wished the honourees all successes.

Shaikh Salman praised the efforts made by all the SLRB's directors general and directors of the SLRB and its staff to provide the best possible services to the public.

He said the SLRB will never spare any effort towards progress and development by keeping abreast with all technological advances in survey and land registration under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain.

He concluded his speech wishing the honourees all success.

Later, Zain Al Abidin Mahmood Al Mahmood delivered a speech on behalf of the honourees thanking Shaikh Salman and the directors general and directors. He said the party would give him and his colleagues a motive and confidence for a better future for the homeland, and encourage them to double their efforts.

Shaikh Salman then presented the certificates and awards to the honourees, who numbered 128 male and female employees, of whom 98 are long serving employees and 30 honoured for excellence.

The party was attended by HE Shaikh Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Land Registration, HE Mr. Mohammed Abdul Al Fayez, Director General of Survey, HE Shaikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director of Human Resources and Finance, and a number of employees.
