Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau Receives Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

His Excellency Engineer Basim bin Yaqoub Al Hamr, Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), received Mr. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), along with a number of members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau highlighted the vital role played by the private sector as an active partner in supporting development sectors and advancing economic growth. He underscored the Bureau’s commitment to expanding channels of communication with the business community and listening to its views and aspirations, in a manner that enhances the flexibility of services, responds to investors’ needs, supports the efficiency of the real estate sector, and facilitates the conduct of business.

The meeting also discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Bureau and the Chamber, as well as a number of matters of mutual interest, in support of the real estate sector and the business environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For his part, Mr. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo commended the efforts undertaken by the Survey and Land Registration Bureau to develop its services and advance digital transformation. He emphasized the importance of continued coordination between the Chamber and the Bureau to facilitate procedures for business owners and investors and enhance the contribution of the real estate sector to Bahrain’s economic development.
