The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has secured first place in the “Smart Settlements and Urban Expansion” category at the 2025 Bahrain Digital Content Award (BDCA), for its “Ta’akad” service. The award is part of the national initiative organized by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH).

On this occasion, the Bureau affirmed that this achievement reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering innovative digital services that enhance transparency and improve the efficiency of real estate and spatial procedures in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It also embodies the Bureau’s vision of continuing its digital transformation journey in line with beneficiaries’ expectations and improving the quality of their experience.

The Bureau explained that the “Ta’akad” service was launched to enable clients to instantly verify the status of a property and ensure it is free from any restrictions that may prevent legal transactions. This is provided through a secure, integrated digital platform that simplifies procedures and accelerates real estate transactions. The service is available on the Bureau’s official website: www.slrb.gov.bh.

It added that the service was developed based on customer feedback and needs analysis, in an effort to save time and effort, enhance data credibility, and improve service delivery in line with the expectations of citizens and residents.

The Bureau praised the efforts of work teams from various departments who contributed to the design, implementation, and development of this digital service. It emphasized the importance of continuing innovation and improvement to deliver high-quality services that support sustainable development and digital transformation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
