The Survey and Land Registration Bureau Participates in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Sports Day Activities

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau participated in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Sports Day activities by organizing a range of sports and health activities for its employees, with the aim of promoting physical exercise and raising awareness about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

On this occasion, His Excellency Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Sports Day represents an important national occasion to reinforce the culture of physical activity among government sector employees and enhance its positive impact on job performance, thereby contributing to improved productivity. He noted that allocating half a working day to sports activities reflects the Government’s commitment to establishing sports as a way of life and improving individuals’ quality of life.

His Excellency further emphasized the Bureau’s commitment to active participation in this occasion through the preparation of diverse sports, health, and awareness programs for employees, contributing to raising awareness of the importance of exercising and maintaining health within the workplace. He also pointed out that Bahrain’s selection as the Arab Capital of Sports Culture for 2026 reflects the advanced position achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the sports sector and highlights the strong connection between sports, culture, and society as fundamental pillars in building and developing communities.

The event also featured a health program organized in cooperation with Al Hilal Hospital, which included medical check-ups and the measurement of various health indicators for employees, in addition to providing health guidance, as part of efforts to promote a culture of preventive healthcare and foster a healthy work environment.
