The Survey and Land Registration Bureau holds a workshop for surveying offices about development and digital transformation projects in land surveying management

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau organized a workshop called "Development and Digital Transformation Projects in Land Surveying Management". Surveying offices in Bahrain took part. The goal was to strengthen cooperation with the private sector to achieve shared goals.

During the workshop, His Excellency Engineer Bassim bin Yaqoob Al Hamar, head of the bureau, said that working closely with the private sector is a key part of their plans—especially for digital transformation. He explained that the bureau is continuing to survey properties in Bahrain to improve the real estate system and make its services better and more professional.

He also said that surveying offices play an important role as partners in developing the real estate sector. He stressed that keeping communication open and sharing ideas helps improve performance and supports the delivery of better surveying services that meet the needs of development and progress.

In the workshop, they talked about current and future projects to improve land surveying. These include updating and automating the national database, launching a new workflow management system (WFMS) that allows electronic files and real-time tracking of processes to improve efficiency, and introducing automatic map generation (Auto-Generation), which will be rolled out gradually with the new system.
