Survey and Land Registration Bureau Participates in the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in Social Housing 2026, Showcasing Its Services and Projects

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) is participating in the second edition of the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in the Social Housing Sector 2026, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, from 29 September to 3 October 2026 at the Exhibition World Bahrain. The event is organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, as part of the activities of the Fourth Gulf Housing Week.

During its participation, the Survey and Land Registration Bureau is showcasing a number of services and projects in the real estate sector, in addition to presenting two working papers. The Bureau is also providing its services at the exhibition through a dedicated booth operating as a fully integrated branch, enabling visitors to complete their transactions, obtain official documents, and communicate directly with specialists, thereby ensuring a comprehensive experience for beneficiaries throughout the exhibition.

On this occasion, His Excellency Engineer Bassem bin Yacoub Al Hamer, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, emphasized that developing an integrated real estate ecosystem based on reliable data, efficient procedures, and the adoption of modern technologies represents a key pillar in enhancing the competitiveness of the real estate sector, ensuring sustainable growth, and strengthening its ability to keep pace with economic and urban developments.

His Excellency explained that, during its participation, the Bureau will showcase a range of modern technologies, services, and innovative projects aimed at developing the real estate and urban sectors. This includes highlighting its role in regulating real estate registration, providing reliable real estate and geospatial data, and delivering digital services that streamline procedures and enhance the beneficiary experience. These efforts reflect the Bureau’s continued focus on reducing and re-engineering procedures in line with the needs and developments of the real estate market.

His Excellency said: “Innovation in the real estate sector begins with an integrated ecosystem that ensures the protection of ownership rights, data accuracy, procedural clarity, and ease of access to information. At the Bureau, we are working to transform real estate and geospatial data into practical tools that enable beneficiaries, investors, and developers to make more accurate and informed decisions.”

His Excellency also noted that the Bureau’s digital transformation journey has extended beyond the development of digital systems and services to include investment in enhancing the technical and professional capabilities of its human resources and improving their efficiency in handling modern systems and procedures. These efforts have contributed to accelerating the issuance of title documents, reducing transaction processing times, and improving the quality of services provided to customers.

The Bureau will also showcase a number of digital services and technologies, foremost among them the “Off-Plan Sale Registration Certificate” service, which enables the issuance of an official certificate confirming the registration of an off-plan property unit and its details in the Bureau’s approved records. The certificate includes a QR code that allows users to access the latest data and updates related to payment instalments for the property unit. This feature enhances the accuracy and ease of verification of information and contributes to greater reliability and transparency, safeguarding the rights of all relevant parties and strengthening confidence in off-plan sales transactions. It also reflects the integrated efforts of government entities and the private sector to develop real estate services and enhance their quality and efficiency.

The Bureau will also showcase its enhanced Live Daily Transactions Dashboard and Real Estate Transactions Analysis Dashboard, which provide readable and analytical data and indicators that contribute to greater market transparency and more efficient real estate decision-making.

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau’s pavilion will also highlight the “Takkad” (Verify) service, which enables users to verify that a property is free from any restrictions preventing its disposal, as well as access data and indicators on registered property prices over the previous three years. This helps customers, investors, and developers make decisions based on official and reliable data.

The Bureau will also showcase its instant registration and property transfer services, electronic mortgage registration, virtual access to property, the “Instant Property Ownership Statement” initiative, document issuance, and other digital services. These services demonstrate the use of digital technologies to simplify procedures and enhance access to real estate data and information.
