On the occasion of Bahraini Engineers Day, which falls on October 15 every year, His Excellency Eng. Basim bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Authority, affirmed that Bahraini engineers have proven their competence and capabilities across various sectors. He pointed out that their contributions in the fields of surveying and land registration represent a fundamental pillar in supporting the development process and achieving the goals of comprehensive development.
His Excellency highlighted that this national occasion serves as an important milestone to celebrate the significant achievements of Bahraini engineers throughout their distinguished careers. He noted that the Authority places, at the core of its strategic directions, the empowerment of engineering competencies across various technical and specialized fields, in line with digital transformation and institutional development, and to enhance engineers’ contributions to its future projects and initiatives. At the same time, he praised the vital role of engineers in implementing the Authority’s strategic objectives, including advancing digital transformation, developing land registration and surveying systems, and improving the efficiency and quality of services.
He further emphasized the Authority’s commitment to providing a supportive and motivating work environment that opens new horizons for engineers in innovation and leadership, in addition to investing in the development of their skills through training programs, knowledge transfer, and experience exchange, ensuring the sustainability of national competencies. He expressed his pride in the efforts of all male and female engineers on their special day, recognizing their contributions as an added value to Bahrain’s development journey, and wished them continued success and achievement.
