14 April, 2016 President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau Honours Female Employees on the Occasion of the Bahraini Women's Day
On Wednesday, 18th December 2013, the President of Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa honoured at SLRB building female employees of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau on the occasion of Bahraini women's Day which was celebrated this year under the theme "Women and the Media". His Excellency the President of SLRB congratulated all female SLRB workers on the occasion of their Day which falls on the first day of December of every year which is named Bahraini Women's Day. His Excellency the President of SLRB praised the role of Bahraini women as an irreplaceable partner in the development and progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency stressed that it was not strange for Bahraini women to achieve success because they were the first in the Gulf region to enter work and public life in all fields. The role of Bahraini women was further enhanced by the policies and efforts of the Supreme Council for Women under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain. Such policies and efforts contributed to the empowerment of Bahraini women and enabled them assume leading positions in all walks of life. His Excellency added that we now see many women leaders who undertake and accomplish all tasks and projects and achieve successes exactly in the same way as man can. At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency thanked all the employees and wished them further progress and success. The ceremony was attended by Land Registration Director HE Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Resources and Information Systems, HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of Survey and Land Registration, HE Eng. Naji Sabt Salem and senior officials of SLRB.
