13 April, 2016 President of the Survey and Land Registration Receives a Delegation from the Real Estate Sector in Dubai
The President of Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa received in his office on Wednesday morning, 4th December 2013, a delegation of the Emirate of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates headed by His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of the Land and Properties Directorate in the Emirate of Dubai. The delegations also included Mr. Mahmoud El-Borai, Executive Director of Dubai Real Estate Institute and Mr. Muhammad al-Mahdi, Operations Manager at the institute and were accompanied by Mr. Nasser Al Ahli, Chairman of the Bahrain Real Estate Association and some other members of the Association.
His Excellency the President of SLRB welcomed the delegation hailing the historical brotherly relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates in general. He praised what the Emirate of Dubai has achieved in terms of development, prosperity and its pioneering role in the fields of construction and real estate. He congratulated Dubai on winning the bid for hosting the "Expo 2020" exhibition.
His Excellency briefed the delegation on the services that the Survey and Land Registration Bureau provides and the level of development and progress that it had achieved. He also discussed with the delegation joint cooperation and ways of benefiting from the exchange of expertise in the area of land registration and training of people working in real estate professions, within the framework of cooperation between GCC countries.
His Excellency further praised the work of Dubai Real Estate Institute on the development of real estate workers, which contributes to the promoting and enhancing the real estate trade. The institute work also helps the real estate sector in attracting talented professionals from within citizens, especially since this sector is an important contributor to the national economy.
For their part, the delegation praised the level of progress and development that the Survey and Land Registration Bureau has achieved in terms of the quality of the services it provides, the use of modern technology, simplicity of customer-friendly procedures and attracting investments to this sector.
