The Hydrographic Survey Directorate of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau at Mina Salman received a group of University of Bahrain students (Department of Life Sciences). The visit included briefing students on all things that the Hydrographic Survey Directorate does such as field survey operations and how to get tides readings and measurements using an advanced tidal network to determine the amplitude of high and low tides in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A detailed explanation was given to the students about the cadastral modern instruments and equipment used onboard the specially equipped marine survey boat.

This is the first visit on a program that includes a series of subsequent visits that aim to provide practical training to students in accordance with a schedule jointly prepared by the University of Bahrain and the Hydrographic Survey Directorate of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau.
