12 April, 2016 Trading in Real Estate Increases by 46% in year 2012
The Public Relations and Media Departmentat the Survey and Land Registration Bureau announced that trading in realestate has increased by 46% in year 2012 compared to year 2011. The totalvolume of trading up to the end of this year amounted to Bahrain Dinars sixhundred sixty three million nine hundred ninety one thousand and six hundredforty one (BD 663,991,641), reflecting an increase of 46%.
The increase in the fourth quarter of 2012amounted to 23% compared to the fourth quarter of last year 2011.
The spokesman said that this growth was dueto a positive climate in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the return of theconfidence of Bahraini, Gulf and foreign investors and real estate developersin the Kingdom as a result of the existence of a supportive investmentenvironment that helped restore such confidence.
