The President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) and Honorary Chairman of Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa honoured at a ceremony held in SLRB building on Wednesday morning, 5th October 2016, forty-two outstanding students and recent school graduates from the sons and daughters of Al Sanabil Society.

The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by Eng.  Mohamed al Mahmoud, followed by a speech by the patron of the ceremony, Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in which he congratulated his sons and daughters, the students, on the success and excellence they have achieved in school. His Excellency thanked the Chairman of the Society’s Board of Director Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Gattan and all the members of the Society for their hard work in serving the sons and daughters of the society and for the programs and projects they provide to enhance the society’s services to the orphans. These programs will undoubtedly help the students of the Society achieve even greater successes and excellence at school and in the society in general. The graduates and high achievers will participate in the process of building their homeland Bahrain and contribute to its progress and success under the leadership of His Majesty the King, guidance of His Highness the Prime Minister and the support of His Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society Shaikh Adnan Abdulla Al Gattan then gave a speech in which he praised the achievements and excellent results of the students. He expressed his thanks to SLRB President and Honorary Chairman of the Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for his support to the Society’s work and programs. He then gave a brief on some of the achievements and important programs and projects of the society, praising the sincere work of the members of the Board of Directors, executive management and all those who contributed to realising these achievements. He offered words of advice to the students to continue their hard work to achieve even more and better results.

Student Noor Abdul Wahab al Qassemi delivered a speech on behalf of the honoured students in which she thanked the Honorary Chairman of Al Sanabil Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors Shaikh Adnan Al Gattan and all the members of the Board of Directors and the employees of the Society for their support and care that made these achievements possible.

The Honorary Chairman of Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa then presented commemorative prizes to the graduating students in recognition of their achievement and excellent results.

This honouring is part of the keenness of His Excellency to ensure that orphans under the care of the Society have a good standard of education to enable them achieve excellence and contribute to the advancement of the country in the future.

Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society was founded in 1999 to become a model in charity work. The Society is very professional in conducting its activities, which earned it a reputation of excellence and trust. The Annual Report of the Society mentions that more than 1000 orphans of different ages and schooling levels were on the list of the Society. Al Sanabil operates a number of projects and programs to support orphans and provide them with good education and proper health and social care to bring them up as good citizens.
