23 May, 2011 Bahrain Centre for Excellence Organizes a Workshop for SLRB's Excellence Team
Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of HR & Information Systems, Survey & Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), expressed the Bureau’s committment to the application of excellence program developed by the visionary government of Bahrain. He also stressed that His Excellency the Chairman of SLRB directed to expedite the application and implementation of the excellence program and cooperation with the Bahrain Center for Excellence to create a culture of excellence in the Bureau.
He gave this statement in a workshop organized by SLRB and Bahrain Center for Excellence at the Bureau's meeting hall. This workshop aimed to determine performance indicators, and included a group of government consultants; namely, Ms. Batool Abdulaal, Deputy CEO, Electricity & Water Authority, Ms. Fatima Al Jamaa, Director of Quality Assurance, Labour Market Regulatory Authority and Ms. Naima Sabt, Chief Medical Consultants.
Excellence team leader, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, is confident of the efficiency of the program and its ability to improve performance in the Bureau in particular, and government institutions in general. This will definitely contribute to the development of the performance of government organizations and spread the culture of excellence among the public servants, and in turn, make Bahrain an exemplary country in terms of providing quality services to the citizens of Bahrain and attracting investments.
On their part, the members of the government consultant team stressed the importance of the practice of values and standards of excellence, and identification of performance indicators in the Bureau, as being the most important factor in achieving the spirit of the Bahrain's excellence program that seeks to improve performance and achieve the highest level of competition.
Finally, Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of HR & Information Systems, and Excellence Team Leader, SLRB, Engineer Naji Salim Sabt, Director General of Survey and Deputy Excellence Team Leader, SLRB, and all team members, expressed their thanks to Bahrain Center for Excellence and the consultants team for taking part in this valuable workshops.
