01 April, 2010 SLRB fully meets the requirements of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee (PIC) with regard to State-Owned Public and Private Properties.
On Sunday morning 24th of May 2009, H.E. Shaikh Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al-Khalifa, Director General of Land Registration received at his office the PIC chaired by HE MP Ibarhim Khalil Al-Marzouq and membership of Their Excellencies MPs Mohammad Jameel Al-Jamri , Abdulla Majeed Al’ali .
At the beginning of the meeting, Director General of Land Registration welcomed the Chairman and the members of PIC and praised the efforts exerted by the Committee to achieve desired objectives. Subsequently, the meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest.
It is noteworthy that the visit is within the framework of continuous coordination and cooperation between SLRB and the Parliament. The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdulla Al-Ammari, SRLB’s Property Consultant.
On the other hand, H.E. Shaikh Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al-Khalifa, Director General of Land Registration declared that SLRB provided answers for all lists related to the State- owned private and public properties and met all PIC’s requirements in the light of the previous meeting held on Sunday morning 26 April 2009.
