The Acting Head of Public Relations and Media Directorate of Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) stated that the value of trading in real estate in the kingdom for the year 2008 reached BD 537.127.488 in the first quarter, BD 549.496.363 in the second quarter and BD 355.17.443 in the third quarter with an increase of BD 1.441.801.294 compared to transactions of 2007.

The value of transactions for the year 2007 reached BD 236.613.070 in the first quarter, BD 345.889.479 for the second quarter and BD 330.414.243 for the third quarter. Accordingly the total value of trading in for the year 2007 peaked up to  BD 912.916.789.

The percentage between 2007 and 2008 indicates an increase of 58%. This is attributed to the economic boom and development that the Kingdom of Bahrain has witnessed and due to the acceleration of development and investment projects under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al  Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, May God Save and Protect him, the fact that has positive impact on increasing real estate trading in the Kingdom.
