The SLRB participated in the Bahrain International Property Exhibition opened by HE Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister at the Prime Minister's Court, and organized by Bahrain Society of Engineers in conjunction with the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre during the period from 22 to 25 November in which 60 international regional and local real estate and property development companies took part.

The SLRB participated in the event to acquaint citizens, Gulf and foreign nationals with the services offered by it and the procedures followed in registering properties which, in addition to safeguarding and protecting property ownership by Bahrainis, Gulf and foreign nationals, encourage the investors, whether Bahrainis, Gulf nationals or foreigners, to invest in the Kingdom. This will boost property investors and in turn stimulate the national economy.

The SLRB participated in the event through its directorates, i.e. Land Registration Directorate, Topographic Survey Directorate, Land Survey Directorate and the Marine Survey Office, and all of them featured the services and modern equipment available to the SLRB and which are used in processing the formalities of the general public and facilitate the SLRB's procedures. They also featured topographic and survey maps the SLRB's publications, including books, booklets and posters explaining land registration procedures and ownership of flats and storeys in the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly following the issue of the law regulating the ownership of storeys and flats in Bahrain, in addition to property ownership by foreigners.

SLRB's representatives gave a presentation about the services available at the SLRB and a full explanation of the steps and procedures followed in registering properties by citizens. The employees manning the SLRB's stand answered questions put forward by the visitors focusing on the mechanism of property ownership by Gulf nationals and foreigners in Bahrain, including storeys and flats.
