The SLRB participated in the Arab Properties Exhibition held at  Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) during the period 24-27 May 2006 and opened by HE Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB).

The SLRB was represented by the Land Registration Directorate, Survey Directorate, Land Survey Directorate and Marine Survey Office, and exhibited a number of publications and maps. The Land Registration Directorate  exhibited a directory of procedures and services of land survey and registration and another one about the procedures of storeys and flats ownership which have been implemented recently. Representatives of the Land Registration Directorate also exhibited the procedures followed in registering land and property conveyances and gave a brief illustration to Arab, Gulf and foreign visitors of the exhibition on the services the SLRB offers. The SLRB's representatives also distributed files containing maps showing the areas of ownership of foreigners of residential and commercial buildings in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a directory of the SLRB's services and procedures, and another one containing the procedures of ownership of storeys and flats and the law of ownership by non-Bahrainis of constructed buildings and lands in the Kingdom of Bahrain. There was  high demand by visitors for the directory of the procedures of ownership of storeys and flats, particularly by Gulf and foreign nationals. There was also a high demand for the directory of ownership by non-Bahrainis of properties in Bahrain, copies of which were distributed to the Gulf and foreign visitors of the exhibition.

For its part, the Topographic Survey Directorate exhibited topographic maps and Bahrain's Tourist Map and aerial photographs and maps illustrating the areas and governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain and maps showing the international borders of the Kingdom. On the other hand, the Land Survey Directorate exhibited a poster illustrating land registration procedures and the issue of property documents and maps. Meanwhile, the Marine Survey Office exhibited marine maps and issues, including the annual book "Al Mad Wal Jazr" and the atlas of forecasts of water currents.

There was a high demand for the SLRB's stand during the event, in which a large number of land and property companies from Bahrain, the Gulf and Arab companies and firms took part.
