President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau Receives Representatives of Five Private Surveying Offices
His Excellency Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, affirmed the important role the real estate sector plays in supporting various development paths and enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect him, and with the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
This came during his meeting with representatives of five private surveying offices, where His Excellency praised the significant efforts made by the surveying offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue fostering effective partnership between the public and private sectors, contributing to the growth of the real estate sector and boosting investment.
The President of the Bureau emphasized the Bureau's commitment to applying the highest standards of efficiency and transparency in delivering services according to best practices, and continuing to intensify efforts to accelerate the adoption of technology and digital transformation to streamline procedures and meet service requests more effectively.
During the meeting, the Bureau's efforts to update its electronic system were reviewed, enabling private surveying offices to access geospatial data and information more quickly and efficiently. Discussions also addressed the need to continue building the technical and operational capacities of private surveying offices to ensure their readiness for the expected increase in service requests and transactions.
For their part, the representatives of the private surveying offices commended the level of support and cooperation provided by the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, highlighting the efforts to simplify procedures and expand the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors to achieve common goals.
