The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) organized a specialized training workshop for representatives of private surveying offices as part of a series of regular workshops and engagement sessions aimed at strengthening partnership with the private sector, enhancing the efficient use of the Work Flow Management System (WFMS), and improving the quality of surveying services and procedures.

The workshop was attended by Eng. Naji Sabt Salem Sabt, Director General of Survey, and Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Shuwaiter, Director of the Cadastral Survey Directorate, along with a number of officials and employees from the Cadastral Survey Directorate. Their participation underscored the Bureau’s commitment to strengthening communication with private surveying offices and supporting them in implementing modern systems and procedures to achieve the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

The workshop focused on reviewing the key technical and procedural observations identified during the past period and highlighting the approved mechanisms for addressing them. This is expected to enhance the quality of submitted applications, reduce the need for returned transactions, accelerate processing times, and improve overall workflow efficiency.

The workshop also featured an overview of several functions and features of the Work Flow Management System (WFMS), including how to make effective use of the system’s data and records, such as the action log, comment log, and survey data. In addition, participants were introduced to a number of best practices that help expedite transaction processing and improve the quality of outputs.

On this occasion, Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Shuwaiter, Director of the Cadastral Survey Directorate, emphasized that these workshops form part of an ongoing program aimed at strengthening communication with private surveying offices, ensuring a unified understanding of procedures, and addressing operational challenges in a timely manner. He noted that these efforts contribute to greater integration between the Bureau and its private sector partners, while enhancing service quality and improving the customer experience.

The workshop also witnessed active engagement from participants through questions and discussions on the practical aspects of using the system, contributing to the standardization of work procedures, improved performance quality, and the optimal utilization of the electronic system.
