President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau Commends Youth City 2030 as a Leading National Model for Youth Empowerment
Manama, July 18 (BNA) – As part of ongoing efforts to support national initiatives aimed at developing Bahraini talent and empowering young people, H.E. Eng. Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), visited Youth City 2030, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with its strategic partner, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). He praised the city as a leading national model for developing capabilities and preparing youth for the future.
During the visit, H.E. was accompanied by H.E. Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, on a tour of the city's training programs, centers, and initiatives. The tour highlighted the diverse programs offered to enhance the skills of Bahraini youth and strengthen their readiness for the evolving demands of the labour market.
H.E. also visited the "Surveying Engineering and Geospatial Data" training program presented by the Survey and Land Registration Bureau as part of Youth City 2030. He met with the participants and reviewed the program, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical application while introducing participants to the latest surveying technologies, geospatial data solutions, and artificial intelligence applications in an environment that reflects real workplace practices and aligns with international best practices.
H.E. Eng. Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar emphasized that investing in young people is a fundamental pillar for building a more competitive and sustainable future. He commended the role of Youth City 2030 in identifying and developing national talent through high-quality training programs that keep pace with rapid changes and future workforce requirements.
He added that such initiatives contribute to preparing a generation equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to actively support Bahrain's national development journey. They also strengthen collaboration among government entities in empowering Bahraini talent, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to investing in human capital.
H.E. further noted that the Survey and Land Registration Bureau's participation in Youth City 2030 reflects its commitment to introducing young people to the fields of surveying and geospatial data, familiarizing them with the latest technologies and applications used in the sector, and providing them with practical learning opportunities that enhance their skills and broaden their awareness of one of the key sectors supporting digital transformation and sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
