The President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) and Honorary Chairman of Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman Bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa honoured in a ceremony held in SLRB building 15 distinguished students and recent school graduates who are under the care of the society.

The ceremony started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by Engineer Mohamed al Mahmoud, followed by a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Sanabil Orphans Care Society Shaikh Adnan Abdulla al Gattan in which he praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and for the care and attention that His Majesty extends to the orphans and widows in this beloved country. Shaikh Adnan al Gattan thanked the Honorary Chairman of the Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for patronizing the ceremony, praising the directives and support of His Excellency to the Society, the policies of the Board of Trustees, and to all the things that are of benefit to his sons and daughters the students who are under the care of the Society. He added that His Excellency has great interest in ensuring that orphans under the care of the Society have a good standard of education to enable them achieve excellence and success and contribute to the development and advancement of our Kingdom. Shaikh Adnan al Gattan also offered words of advice to the distinguished students and school graduates to help them moving forward in pursuing their higher education and thus be a source of pride for their parents, and help them contribute to the building of their homeland.

After Shaikh al Gattan's speech, student Fatima al Mannai delivered a speech on behalf of the honoured students in which she lauded the great and sincere care that the Honorary Chairman of Al Sanabil Society His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa affords to his sons and daughters belonging to the society and his support to the members of the Board of Trustees of the Society. On the behalf of all honoured students, she praised the significant role played by the Board of Trustees headed by Shaikh Adnan Abdulla al Gattan in looking after the students and ensuring that the Society follows the latest educational methods designed to ensure the success and distinction of the students.

His Excellency then presented symbolic awards to the distinguished and graduated students in recognition of their achievement and excellence. The Bahrain Road Runners Committee headed by Shaikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa also donated gifts for the outstanding students, in line of its policy of directing part of the proceeds of its activities towards charitable work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
