The President of the Survey and Land Registration (SLRB) His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received in his office this morning Mr. Yousuf Mohamed Ismail, Media Director at the Media Affairs Authority who presented His Excellency with his first book titled "History National Singing in Bahrain".

His Excellency Shaikh Salman praised the contents of the book which documented valuable information about patriotic lyrics and songs since the era of the founder Shaikh Ahmed Al Fateh to the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which were sung by the people of Bahrain in loyalty and love for their homeland and leadership. He commended the researcher for choosing this topic because it reflects the importance of art in the formation of national identity of communities and nations.

His Excellency added that this book represents an important addition to Bahraini books and an important reference book to the history of Bahraini songs and art that can be of great benefit to researchers in this field.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Yousuf expressed his thanks to His Excellency the President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau for the warm reception and the support he extends to Bahraini journalists and researchers.
