28 August, 2013 Volume of Real Estate Trading in Year 2016
The Public Relations and Media Department at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) announced that the volume of real estate trading in last year 2016 amounted to BD 1,038,600,035 (Bahrain Dinars one billion thirty-eight million, six hundred thousand and thirty-five), and that the volume of real estate trading in the fourth quarter of last year was BD 251,772,009 (Bahrain Dinar two hundred fifty-one million seven hundred and seventy-two thousand and nine). This is the third year in a row that real estate trading in the Kingdom of Bahrain exceeds the one-billion-dinar mark.
The following table shows the value of real estate transactions made by Bahrainis, GCC nationals and foreigners in the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the third quarter:
