26 June, 2012 Survey and Land Registration Bureau Holds a Coordination Meeting with the Ministry of Works
On directives from SLRB President His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to increase the level of coordination with government ministries and agencies in order to maximize the benefits of SLRB services, senior officials from the Ministry of Works were invited to visit the Survey and Land Registration Bureau on Tuesday 30 August 2016.
Upon this invitation, a delegation comprising Ministry of Works Acting Undersecretary Eng. Ibrahim Al-Hawaj, Assistant Undersecretary of Roads Eng. Huda Fakhro and some other department heads at the Ministry of Works visited SLRB and SLRB permanent exhibition.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the many services offered by SLRB and the detailed and accurate spatial information that many government and non-government bodies need for the implementation of strategic government projects, infrastructure projects and other services that the government provides to citizens, residents and corporations in the Kingdom. The services of SLRB support the national economy and help create a healthy investment environment to attract capital. The delegation was received by Survey Director General Eng. Naji Sabt Salem and other directors and officials of SLRB.
The visit comes in implementation of government policies and the directives issued by the Council of Ministers towards achieving further coordination between the ministries and other government institutions in the Kingdom in order to avoid duplication of efforts or procedures and to increase the rates of completion of projects included in the government’s action plan.
During the visit, detailed presentations were given by the directors and heads of SLRB departments to explain the role of each department, the information produced and services offered by it using the latest technologies in producing spatial data and survey information. SLRB officials expressed their readiness for enhanced cooperation and to provide more services that the Ministry of Works and other government agencies may need. Such cooperation will certainly contribute to savings in effort, time and money and thus help in the rationalization of government spending and the preservation of public money.
