HE Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Survey and Land Registration Bureau  (SLRB),  congratulated the Bureau’s female staff  in particular and all the Bahraini women in general, on the occasion of the Bahraini Women's Day annually marked on first day December. The celebrations were held under the permanent theme “I read, learned and participated” under this year’s theme “Bahraini Women and Voluntary Work - 55 Years of Participation & Contribution”. HE Shaikh Salman delegated the Director-General of Land Registration, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Khalifa, to attend the ceremony organized by the Bureau on this occasion and included a lecture entitled “Voluntary Work - Solidarity & Development”, delivered by Ms. Fawzia Zainal, Chairperson of the Women Committee, Bahrain Philanthropy Society.

Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa welcomed Ms. Fawzia Zainal and expressed his thanks for the useful lecture. He also congratulated all the female staff on their national day, and wished them more progress and success. He said: “the Bureau is proud of all female staff, and their job performance, adding that the development of female staff professional career is an ongoing and continuous process, and the Bureau will support women and grant them as equal development and progress opportunities as their male counterparts. On this occasion, flowers were given to the female staff. The lecture was in line with this year’s Bahraini Women's Day theme covering the voluntary work of Bahraini women. The lecturer Ms. Fawzia Zainal, Chairperson of the Women Committee, Bahrain Philanthropy Society, discussed the history of voluntary work of the Bahraini women which extends to over 55 years, and encouraged the voluntary work by raising the issue of the importance of voluntary work to communities and its role in support of community service.
