Under the patronage of H. E. Shaikh Salman Bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, Head of Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), the last week witnessed the inauguration of the Ernst & Young (E&Y)-developed SLRB Quality Control System (SQCS).

 

For a welcome speech, SLRB head welcome attendees wishing all the best for the company and those concerned with the key 5-stage project. He also urged them to do their best to achieve objectives sought-after which would certainly be reflected in all services offered by SLRB to users and auditors.

 

In turn, Steven James Skiavank, senior E&Y consultancy manager and SQCS team leader, extended his sincere thanks for SLRB head and senior officials for their trust and dependence on E&Y to implement this high-profile project, while vowing more efforts to bring it to full success.Later on, Mr. Hasan, E&Y ISO consultant, briefed the attendees on the key 5 stages of the project, E&Y role therein, steps, procedures and preparations necessary to accomplish the project perfectly as per the time frame and action plan set.

 

For their part, attendees asked several question and offered several inquiries and comments that contributed to the meeting.

 

The meeting was attended by directors general, SLRB real estate and survey advisors, Civil Service Authority representatives and a number of parties concerned and project developers.
