01 April, 2010 HE Head of SLRB and Honorary Chairman of Sanabil Charity Orphan Care Receives GM of Gulf Petrochemical Co
HE Shaikh Salman Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Head of SLRB and the honorary chairman of Sanabil Charity Orphan Care received HE Eng. Abdul Rhaman Abdul Hussain Jawahiri, the General Manager of Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) at his office on Tuesday 8 September 2009.
At the start of the meeting, HE Head of SLRB welcomed Mr. Jawahiri and the accompanied delegation and briefed them on the objectives, programs and activities of the Bureau. Afterward, Mr. Jawahiri conveyed the greetings of HE Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Prime Minister for Industrial and Oil Affairs and GPIC Board Chairman and his keenness to support charitable organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, GPIC provided financial support as a contribution to prop up the charitable and humanitarian projects and activities of the Orphan Care which falls within GPIC annual charitable plans and programs.
From his side, HE Shaikh Salman Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Head of SLRB and the honorary chairman of Sanabil Charity Orphan Care requested Mr. Jawahiri to convey his high appreciation and gratitude to HE Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Prime Minister for Industrial and Oil Affairs and GPIC Board chairman for the company’s generous donation for the Orphan Care. Meanwhile, he lauded vital role the Company in communal partnership and in supporting activities and events of community service organizations and for providing financial support for constructive schemes wishing the Company and its staff members all success.
At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged memorial shields in recognition and appreciation of this occasion.
