01 April, 2010 SLRB organizes the 3rd Ramadan’s Succor Tournament
Under the generous patronage of HE Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Head of Survey and Land Registration Bureau, and in the presence of Their Excellencies Directors General and Directorates’ Directors, the Public Relations and Media Section organized, on Friday 5 September 2008 corresponding to the 5th of Ramadan 1429 H at the sports hall of Gulf Financial House, Um-alhssam, the third Ramadan Succor Tournament on HE Head of SLRB’s Cup.
At the opening of the event, HE Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Director of Resources and Information Systems delivered a welcoming address praising the directives, guidance and support provided to the tournament from HE Head of SLRB and Their Excellencies Directors General and Directorates’ Directors and the cooperative and responsive stand of all the fact truly contributed to bring the event to success.
On this occasion, HE Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Director of Resources and Information Systems presented a memorial shield to HE Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Director of Resources and Information Systems. In turn, He Head of SLRB expressed his pleasure and conveyed gratitude to everyone for the efforts being exerted to organize and arrange for the event. He commented saying: “this tournament is organized for the second year successively amid wonderful and Ramadan’s brotherly atmospheres to represent links and interaction between SLRB employees at various directorates. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the officials of GOYS for their continuous cooperation and response. I would also like to laud this well-organized and tournament.
Six teams, representing various SLRB’s directorates, participated in the tournament as the Cadastral Survey team (A) and the Land Registration team (B) competed in the final match when team A won the tournament and team B came second..
At the close of the tournament, the winner received the cup as well as other cups were presented to the players of both teams- the winner and the runner-up. Mr. Mansour Al-Naiem received the tournament best player’s cup, Mr. Ahmed Al Umayri deserved the best goalkeeper while Top Scorer’s cup went to Mr. Ali Al Gotti. Meanwhile, memorial gifts awarded to the referees.
At the end of the event all were invited to have Ramadan’s “Ghabgha – special midnight meal”
