SLRB’s Hydrographic Survey Office issued the annual tides book for 2006 which contains abundant information related to tides in Bahrain, illustrative charts, graphs and maps of tides, waters levels and maritime guidelines. The book also presents detailed tides predictions in specific locations all over the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to tables on high and low tides forecasts.

Moreover, the book contains a list of publications issued by Hydrographic Survey Office, including tidal currents tables, waters predictions atlas, symbols, abbreviations and terminology used in Bahrain’s maps a long with a set of marine maps. The book also contains awareness items of safety on the prevention of marine environment from contamination; meanwhile the book provides guidelines and information for the people who work, live or play near the sea throughout the year

Divided into two parts- Arabic part and English part, the bilingual version, which is printed on fine papers, encloses illustrative photos, maps and contacts of Hydrographic Survey Office.
