The SLRB has introduced a new system for financial receipts by using the SLRB Finance, after they were prepared manually.

Mr. Yousif Ahmed Al Mahmeed, Acting Director of Human Resources and Finance, said the new system has changed the way receipts are issued from manual to electronic, thus facilitating linkage with the Financial Affairs Section in preparing financial reports. The new system is also accurate and timely in controlling accounts and completing transactions, in addition to making inventories of amounts. The new system offers many facilities, such as specifying the type of the transaction whether it is registration or transfer of title, the value and the type of properties traded among Bahrainis, Gulf nationals and foreigners, in addition to providing statistics related to the property movement.

Mr. Yousif Al Mahmeed said the time needed at present to complete a transaction does not exceed 15 seconds, which ensures timeliness and speed in serving customers. He said there are three types of receipts, white, red and yellow. The white is issued to the customer, while the red is maintained on the file of the property being registered, and the yellow copy is forwarded to the Financial Affairs Directorate.
