The Survey and Land Registration Bureau Organizes a Scientific Day for Youth
As part of its commitment to promoting active community partnership between the government sector and civil society, the Topographic Survey Directorate at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, in collaboration with the Al-Shurooqi Council, organized an interactive scientific day for youth, aimed at instilling a passion for surveying sciences among young participants.
During the visit, students were introduced to the role of surveying and mapping sciences in nation-building. They attended both visual and hands-on presentations on data collection, analysis, and its use in producing various types of maps. The students also participated in an educational tour to learn about the tools used for collecting geospatial data, such as the Global Positioning System (GPS) and high-resolution aerial mapping devices.
