The General Directorate of Survey at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau held a meeting with private surveying offices at the Bureau’s building, aiming to enhance coordination and cooperation as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership with the private sector in providing a range of services to customers.
In this regard, His Excellency Engineer Naji Sabt Salem, Director General of Survey, emphasized the important role that private surveying offices play in conducting real estate and other surveys. He highlighted their capability to take on further responsibilities given their accumulated technical expertise spanning over 30 years. These offices are now able to perform auditing roles on surveys conducted by their peer offices.
Engineer Sabt added that this approach aims to bolster the partnership with the private sector, enabling it to fulfill its expected role as a key driver of the economy, creating more specialized technical fields and job opportunities through the economic viability of such activities.
On their part, the owners of the private surveying offices expressed their gratitude to His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, and Engineer Naji Sabt, Director General of Survey, for the support, assistance, and attention they receive to develop surveying work and enhance the role of private surveying offices, which undoubtedly contributes to creating a sustainable economic environment for such activities.
