This service allows beneficiaries to register property exchanges between two parties at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, ensuring the legal and secure ownership transfer.   • Notarized Transfer Contract for all parties
  • Passport for non-Bahrainis

Service Steps

Submit the application with all documents through the electronic registration service on the Survey and Land Registration Bureau's website. 

Fees

  • A fee of 2% of the higher value of the two properties ( the exchamged properties ) is charged and both parties of the ecvhange contract are jointly liable. The fee is based on the higher property value as determined by the administration
  • A registration form fee of BD 1for each transaction. 

Terms and Conditions

 

If the property is located in an area that requires ownership approval, it must be submitted. 

Rules and Regulations

  • Property Registration Law issued by Law No. 13 of 2013. 
  • Decision No. 10 of 2016 and its amendments concerning the issuance of the executive regulation of the aforementioned Property Registration Law.
