Property Expropriation or Exchange Registration Service
This service allows beneficiaries to register expropriated properties or compensations at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, ensuring the legal and secure registration. The request can be submitted online after completing the required documents, to speed up the completion of transaction without the need for a personal visit.

Service for registering the expropriation of a property and exchanging it for another property.
Documents Required
- Original title deed for the property.
- A letter from the relevant authority indicating the expropriation of the property, attached with a settlement document (if compensation is monetary), a survey certificate for the expropriated property, and a detailed map of the exchanged property (if compensation is in kind).
- Copy of the passport (must be valid for non-Bahrainis).

Service Steps
Submit the application with all documents through the electronic registration service on the Survey and Land Registration Bureau's website.
Fees
- BD 5 for each registration transaction and BD 1 for the registration form.
- Additional fees may apply based on the type of application.
