Service for registering the expropriation of a property and exchanging it for another property.
Documents Required
- Original title deed for the property.
- A letter from the relevant authority indicating the expropriation of the property, attached with a settlement document (if compensation is monetary), a survey certificate for the expropriated property, and a detailed map of the exchanged property (if compensation is in kind).
- Copy of the passport (must be valid for non-Bahrainis).

Service Steps
Submit the application with all documents through the electronic registration service on the Survey and Land Registration Bureau's website.
Fees
- BD 5 for each registration transaction and BD 1 for the registration form.
- Additional fees may apply based on the type of application.

- Decision No. 10 of 2016 and its amendments concerning the issuance of the executive regulation of the aforementioned Property Registration Law.
