Submissions Requirements

As-Built project data should be submitted as a package containing:

  1. Design plan file for the As-Built project.
  2. Cover letter – soft copy.
  3. Survey report – soft copy only required (see Survey Report Requirements.)
  4. Provide all surveyed raw data including:
    1. Established check points/control - soft copy PDF (original file downloaded from GPS or Data Downloader)
    2. Raw data should be submitted in CSV or .txt format.
  5. As-Built Drawing submitted in 3D CAD format (.dgn, .dwg) – soft copy only required. CAD requirements:
    1. SLRB Official Control Points must be surveyed to assist with quality control checking of the survey.
    2. Sample of well-defined existing features must be surveyed to assist with quality control checking of the survey.
    3. Link new surveyed As-Built data with existing features if possible (Road, Utilities for example) (20m on both sides).
    4. All surveys must be carried out using Bahrain National Grid (Ain Al Abd) and Bahrain National Level Datum (BNLD) 1976.
    5. SLRB feature codes must be used.
  6. Any other supporting documentation such as Cadastral plot information or photographs etc. – soft copy only required.
  7. As-Built Package (to be submitted by email: Asbuilt@slrb.gov.bh)

Note:

  1. All submissions must be according to SLRB As-Built standard and specification (see SLRB As-Built website).
  2. All surveys must be carried out by one of the approved licensed survey companies.
  3. For As-Built Reclamation Project, License Conditions compliance form must be submitted.

Survey Report Requirements

General

The report should be typed, in the English language, on company letterhead and signed by the surveyor who was responsible for the work and the principal of the company with the company seal and COEPP registration number.

Title Page

Include the project name, address, company name, date of survey, and the address of the property.

Introduction

This should include the scope of survey works, date of survey, including a summary of the planned and actual programme of work and the delivery schedule.

Personnel and Equipment

This should be a description/listing of the survey equipment (including serial numbers), surveying software (for data capture and processing), and the staff employed on the project.

Methodology

Survey Network: This should be a description of the methods employed and the control used.
Adjustment Procedure: This should provide a description of the method of adjustment for the horizontal and vertical networks, including GNSS and Star*Net listing (.txt file) or computations.
Detail Survey: The method used to capture the survey details.
- It should include a quality management report describing the quality assurance procedures used to test the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data in the field, during processing, and the results of tests, including an interpretation of the results supplied.

Deliverables

This should be an explanation and listing of what has been delivered.

Conclusions and Recommendations

This should include comments on the specification, results, and recommendations for future work.

Appendices

- Schedule of control if any that was used, and new control established with description.
- Horizontal and vertical control network diagrams (true to scale or schematic).
- Traverse Control Observations, Bowditch Traverse Closures, and/or Least Squares Block Adjustment of traversing.
- Photographs of the site.
