Status Change Registration Transaction
Required Documents:
- Original property deed.
- Original copy of the approved planning map from the Urban Planning and Development Authority (according to the previous status and after changes).
- Authenticated written acknowledgments from property owners affected by the status amendment.
- Copy of passport or ID card for citizens of GCC countries and passport for non-GCC citizens, provided it is not expired.
Transaction Fees:
- A fee of one dinar for registration form per transaction.
- A fixed fee of 5 dinars per transaction.
Registration Obstacles:
- Court reservation or encumbrance order on registration.
- Registration of a lawsuit related to property rights on the property.
- Issuance of a decision by the Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture prior to registration regarding property ownership.
- Submission of a contract for registration one year after its authentication.
