  1. Final approval from the municipality for the sale of apartment floors.
  1. A copy of the apartment (residential unit or office) survey certificate.
  1. A copy of the buyer's passport or ID card.
  1.  A copy of the power of attorney, if available.
  1. A copy of the company’s articles of incorporation, if the seller and buyer are companies, as stated in the sale contract.
  1.  If the property is in the Muharraq area, approval from the Muharraq Municipal Council is required.

  1. The original gift deed, certified by the Sharia court and valid.
  1. A copy of the Sharia inheritance certificate for the deceased.
  1. The original deed of waiver, if available.
  1. A copy of the recipient's passport or ID card.
  1. If the property is in the Muharraq area, approval from the Muharraq Municipal Council is required.
  1. If the property is in the Qudaibiya or Hoora areas, approval from the Office of the Director General of the Real Estate Registration Department is required.

procedure for registering subdivision or partition:

 

  1. The original document.
  1. A copy of the subdivision decision with the associated maps.
  1. The original court ruling (should be an enforceable copy certified with a red seal).
  1. A copy of the Sharia inheritance certificate if mentioned in the ruling and subdivision decision.
  1. A copy of the passports or ID cards of the owners or heirs.
  1. A certificate of no appeal from the Complaints Office at the Ministry of Justice.

 

procedure for registering inherited property:

 

  1. The original property document.
  1. The Sharia inheritance certificate for the deceased.
  1. The will, if available, of the deceased.
  1. A copy of the passports or ID cards of all the heirs.
  1. The original partition deed, if available (it must be notarized by a notary office).

 

Floor Plan Registration:

 

  1. The original property document.
  1. Approval from the Planning Department at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs.

 

  1. A copy of the approved plan from the Planning Department.

 

  1. A notarized declaration of waiver for land allocated for public utility and roads.
  1. A copy of the owner's passport or ID card.
  1. A copy of the articles of incorporation (if the property is registered in the name of a company).

 

procedure for registering a change or modification of property status:

 

  1. The original property document.
  1. The original letter from the Urban and Rural Planning Department at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs.
  1. The original copy of the approved planning map from the Planning Department (showing either the previous status or the status after the change).
  1. Approval from the Royal Court for the property change.

 

Compensation or Acquisition Registration:

 

  1. The original property document.
  1. A letter from the Urban and Rural Planning Department at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs.
  1. The original copy of the map for the expropriated or compensated property.

 

  1. Approval from the Royal Court for the expropriation or compensation.
  1. A copy of the owner's passport or ID card.

 

  1. A copy of the articles of incorporation (if the property owner is a company).

 

In case of joining or registration of two or more properties:

 

  1. The original documents.
  1. If the properties are in a private plan, approval from the Planning Department must be obtained confirming that there is no objection to merging the mentioned properties.
