The President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of sports and exercise as a way of life. He extended his thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister, for allocating half a working day to give time to government employees to participate in Bahrain Sports Day activities and for the issuing of His Royal Highness’ directives to all ministries and government agencies to organize sports events and exercises.
His Excellency praised the initiative of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his keen interest in spreading the culture of sports and highlighting its importance for the health of Bahraini citizens. His Excellency added that such activities improve the health of government employees and spread a good habit among them.

This came during the participation of His Excellency in the sports activities organized by the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) in partnership with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) on the occasion of Bahrain Sports Day on Tuesday, 12 February 2019. The events included a walkathon that started from the main gate of the SLRB building, heading west to the back street of Bahrain Mall and then back to the starting point.

Football matches were also organized between the various departments of SLRB. The participants in this event praised the allocation of a national day for sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain to promote the concept of community sports and enhance the health of Bahraini citizens.
