Survey and Land Registration Bureau organizes a scientific day for young people
To reinforce the principle of community partnership and the approach of community communication, Survey and Land Registration Bureau organizes a scientific day for young people.
As part of realizing the principle of effective community partnership between the government sector and civil society, the Topographic Survey Department of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, in collaboration with the Al-Sharouki Council, organized an interactive scientific day for young people, aimed at instilling a love for surveying sciences in their hearts.
During the visit, students were introduced to the role of surveying and mapping sciences in community development. They were provided with a visual and practical presentation on the mechanisms of data collection, analysis, and its use in producing various types of maps. The students also took a guided tour to become familiar with the devices used in collecting geospatial data, such as Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and high-resolution aerial mapping equipment.
